otherwise, concerning a spam site or some sort of advertising.
This includes, of course, the free I pod scam or other similar "free" stuff.

Please contact the Admin should you wish to advertise.

Sanctions may otherwise apply.

Now the guess it what they mean by "Advertise"? It could mean almost every of what there is! And what did Danasoft advertise? It not remembering advertising anything for what it does! Who seriously thought it hacking anything? It was just a fun thing. This not hurting anyone if you ban this one you should ban all because it is simple of rediculous. For all the people for all of the rude comments I would like to say Up Yours!

Just because it's one of the most annoying sigs out there...But I had no plan on getting it banned. I just post the annoying ones that I see or feel that are....Again look to the pll to see the overall reception of pictures in sigs.

I've never had anyone complain, it's small and in good taste. I'll have to guess that that rule is in place so you don't have someone posting a bunch of nonsense just to get their link out without contributing anything of substance, they even have bots just for this purpose.

Obviously there's a line somewhere, I'd imagine creating a sig image as the one I suggested above would cross it. If you applied that rule flat out as it stated it would apply to just about any link in a sig.

The fact is that complaints have been made about
these signatures for some time. I was not aware
but not suprised to hear that jackal70058 got
rude PM's.

Frankly I cannot see what the big deal is in
changing to another sig.

Thecoalman is right, the rule has blanket coverage
so that trolls and lamers can't squeal that they have
been warned or banned unfairly.
