Search Suggestion

This may be already possible but I'll be buggered if I can figure it out.
I know I made a post once with the phrase 'unable to delete and avi', but I can't seem to be able to search just in the message title.
It's either message and title or message only.
Sometimes there are so many results it's too hard so I suppose all I'm saying is a facilty to serach for keywords in the message title would be a benefit.
(I couldn't find my post with keywords 'avi' 'delete' and 'unable' by the way.

It was a feature in old phpbb....but www.phpbb.com removed it. I maybe will add it later.

I think, in fact I'm sure some posts may have gne.
If I get any shit from anyone about all my off topic posts if I'm that way out I'll check their ratio of posts (and add it to that post I made about my off topic ratio, you remember it?), but lately the search facility doesn't seem to produce the results I expect.
No big deal, I'm interested to learn if I can search simply by thread title

Did it prove too much of a pain?
I'm searching now for a post I know has the words ADVC-100, where and buy in the title (it has a list of where to buy in the UK), but I'm getting a tonne of results back and can't find it.

I've done that. I think you can combine word search cross referenced with author to narrow things down even more, but not really sure.

Yes adding the author does help to filter things.

Strange, because when I searched I got hundreds.
No, the post I'm looking for had all price comparisons, as well as links to websites.

4 hits if you search for "advc-100 buy" and if you choose Search topic title/subject only.

That's very odd, because those are the same keywords that I used and had 52. I think the post just doesn't exist in that forum, could it have been in another?

Actually, I didn't select the topic title only option, it searched through the whole post to find it. Just a matter of getting the keywords right this time.
