Is it possible to convert an XSVCD to plain old SVCD? If so,
how do I go about doing that? AVICODEC tells me this XSVCD is:

    File : 558 MB (0.0 B), duration 0:00:00, type MPG, 1 audio stream(s), quality 88 %
    Video : 0.0 B, 15000 Kbps, 29.970 fps, res. 480*480 (16:9), MPG2 = MPEG 2 (SVCD/DVD), Supported
    Audio : 0.0 B, 192 Kbps, 44100 Hz, 2 chan., 0x51 = Mpeg-1 audio Layer 2 [0xc0], Supported

I have tried de-multiplexing, and then trying to convert the
video to 2000 kpbs and then multiplexing... seperating the
audio to a .WAV and then reencoding...nothing seems to work or
give me something I can burn to a CD to watch on my DVD player.

I have four (4) of these XSVCDs and their sizes are fairly
normal as far as MPEGs go:

    571480KB, 592700KB, 648576KB, and 677369KB

If I try to de-multiplex one of these X(S)VCDs with TMPGenc,
the first thing that happens is a new box opens that says
"Creating GOP List" which takes about 30 seconds to complete.
Not sure what this means nor how I use a "GOP List"...anyone
    know anything about this??
