  1. 1. I have a divx with ac3 5ch audio. Can TMPGEnc and toolame fix so the output have 5.1 audio? I don't think so..
2.I have a divx with ac3 2ch audio. Is there any way to get 5.1 audio from that?

Do i need to rip out the audio to a wav with virtual dub and fix the audio file in some other prog and then convert it with the video in TMPGEnc (in both my cases)?
Or only convert the video in TMPGEnc and how do i get the audio in after the conversion??
There must be someone who knows which prog to use and in which order to use them so i can burn it as an DVD ????

I intend to burn it as an DVD and play it in my standalone dvd player with my DTS 5.1 amplifier.

The new BESWEET can do the job for you. Rip the audio withd VD and load into BESWEET and convert it to AC3 5.1.

    Good luck

    1. Convert the video separate, rip the audio with virtualdub and fix it with ac3fix or beslice and after that join the new video and the ac3(or some authoring tools can import separate streams).
2.You can't get 5.1 from stereo. It is enough to convert to ac3 stereo.

But if the source in the divx is 5ch ? I must be able to get 5.1 from that otherwise there is no use to make a dvd compared to SVCD, except the better video quailty.I mean 384kbps in audio and only stereo?? I can't hear the difference than the audio u get from a SVCD in my audio equipment??

If the source is 5.1 ac3 you leave it as it, you don't need to reconvert anything. But if the source is only stereo there is no point to convert to 5.1.

If i have a divx with 5ch ac3. I should rip it out with virtualdub fix it with ac3fix and then add it again in TMPGEnc and i can also plug in toolame ??
Even if i save it as an wav in virtual dub i don't fuc... something up with the 5ch? They say all this in the guide so ??

And one other thing do i get the dolby didgital not the prologic icon on my amplifier ,as i get when i play the original dvd ??
