  1. I would like to know which is the best solution to get the best quality when I´m capturing from my Video Tape with my captured card Pinnacle moviebox USB. Have I to capture an AVI and when I have it ,to convert to a MPEG2 with CCE (for example) or I will get a better work if I capture directly in MPEG2 with Pinnacle Studio 8 ?Thank you.

  2. First I doubt that you can get a decent quality capture with USB device.
Second Pinnacle Studio 8 only pretends to capture in MPEG-2, it actually capture in AVI (DV if you get Firewire) and then converts to MPEG-2 in the background (which takes forever).
Third, best quality to one may not mean best quality to another. I personally stay away from USB capture device.
