not syncronized sound

i need help with the subtitles, look, when i'm encoding the video, to see the subtitles permanently, it works perfectly, but the sound, is not syncronized with the movie, and its very annoying, for example, first come the sound, and then like 3 or 5 sec. after the actor begin to speak. what i'm doing wrong,

I forgot to say, that the original file is in mpg, then i transform it again in mpg, is that why the problem with the sound comes...
