  1. Hi

I bought some karaoke VCD's but as usual, not every song is to my liking so I would like to
    (a) compile a VCD containing only those songs I like and
    (b) copy the songs I like onto a CD so that I can play them on any CD player, including the Discman.

But being a complete newbie, I do not have a clue of how to do it . I'm using Nero 5.5 that is bundled with the CD Writer.

    Thanks

  2. If you want to make Audio CD out of Video CD:
    1) Get VirtualDub
    2) Write down the track numbers of the songs you want to get.
    Repeat for every song:
    a) Go to File -> Open Video File
    b) Browse your cd-rom, go to MPEGAV folder, choose the file with name like Avseq02.dat (your track number instead of "02")
    c) When the opening process is finished, go to File -> Save as WAV
    d) Choose output audio file destanation and choose save.

Note: You can Copy the content of VideoCD to your harddrive in order for VirtualDub to work faster spliting audio. Do not forget to choose your copied files as sources.
