    I need help on converting. After copy dvd direct to Divx avi, I can't use TMPGEN to convert it to mpg. It kept on saying that "ERROR on 52135-52144" and if I press "OK" then it goes on. After a while when it completed converting, there's no sound. How do I convert it mpg with sound?

    So, what kind of audio encoding do you use in your DivX AVI? Tell us more about your route from DVD to AVI and hopefully someone may figure it out...

    Regarding error message: I had this problem one time with DIVX video file. I rebooted the computer and the file encoded without this messages.

    Regarding sound: Try to use GSpot and determine if you have the audio codec installed. Also check if it plays with sound on the computer.

    At this point after I restart my computer, it has an messages saying "Unable to read, please install VFW codec"................
