DVD 2 SVCD problem

i have never used this to convert before and have had problems big time cutting movies created in tmpeg. I followed one of the guides and went to convert and when i click rip and convert I get " " is not an integer value " . Whats all this then anyone help. Also when i try to cut this movie i just converted to a svcd 1600 CBR. Every cutting program crashes apart from mpeg2cutter. When i go to burn with nero this crashes and vcdeasy just says its an audio or video stream not multiplexed. But it is as i've stripped and re multiplexed and watched the thing in power DVD! Please help

A week or so ago a guide was posted for DVDx. I used this program to convert some episodes of West Wing in Pal DVD to NTSC SVCD's. This program performed great once I got the settings tweaked (audio 128 bit rate) and it's freeware. I use this with VCDEasy to make chapters. The only hangup with VCDEasy is I can't get the view window to show the movie, audio only. Out side of that When I'm done burn with Nero. Give it a try.....Terence
