  1. Wasn't sure where to put this so I posted here.

    First I'll give my specs.

    AMD Athlon 1900
    Geforce 4 ti 4200
    512 DDR 266 RAM
    WDJ80 Hard drive

When playing a movie it works fine at first. But then there's this weird distortion in the video for about 2-3 seconds, after that the sound lags the video for the rest of the movie. I'm sure I don't have to say how annoying it is to watch a movie when the sound lags. Anyway, I was hoping someone on here has maybe had the same problem and new how to fix it.

Thanks in advance for any replys.

Well, you told us about your sytem but you neglected to tell us anything about your movie.

Just a guess but......It sounds like a movie that was created from a source with bad frames. You need to scan and remove the bad frames before converting your movie.

Future reference: Give all the info you can about the movie, programs you used, methods/guides used etc., the title of the movie is not needed.
