can you write on dvd

ie the end if there are no titles at end of film

You need to reword your question because it is difficult to understand what you want to know

If you are asking if it is possible to add titles (I am assuming you have either created them in a video editing app yourself, or you have them already) directly to a currently existing DVD, then no. Once a DVD is written, you need to re-author it to include the additional footage.

You would need to use a tool such as DVD-lab, or one of the other Authoring tools, recreate the DVD structure with the additional video, and then reburn the DVD.
