  1. Hello , i'm currently working with a DVD ISO image file which is supposed to be burned using DVD-R...
However, i own a DVD+R drive and to my knowledge, the ISO will fit on DVD-R
    (and not DVD+R)..

    Help!
The ISO image is exactly 4,703,617,024............(so won't fit on DVD+R)

Is there any way of overburning to get it to fit..?

p.s. i got some info about capacity of DVD+R and DVD-R,... kinda
    explains what i mean..

    Blank DVD-R 4,489MB 4,706,074,624 bytes or 4.383GB

    Blank DVD+R 4,483MB 4,700,372,992 bytes or 4.377GB

Any help would be very gratefully received!! TIA!

  2. I don't think this 3MB would be a problem when burning ISO

BTW burning programs usually have a TEST option before burning
    Something like:
"Test and if OK then Record."

  3. I just checked: our drives don't support testing before burning DVDs.

I'd just give it a go and write that ISO with DVD Decrypter

  4. thanks for your reply, but i am curious if it is possible to 'Overburn'
    data onto DVD..?

Normally, when i burn disk it says... (Not enough space on disc..)

I burned the iso with DVD Decrypter....and had an error at 99%... it then closed the disc and finalized it...

Is it possible to overburn...with DVD...or is this a myth?

Both RecordNow Max(DX) and Nero support overburning but I don't know if it will give you any good, that space just seems too tight.

Try it, if it doesn't work you need to cut a couple of frames off your movie
    its 3MB only
