  1. I have a family home video that I am putting onto DVD. The problem is I use Pinnacle Studio v.7 for capturing, editing, and then making a mpeg2. Now what I would like to do it load the mpeg2 into TMPGEnc and create an M2V video file (I have used this way to author countless other things). Now the plan is to load the M2V into Maestro and then author it with the AC3 audio etc. But when I try to load the mpeg2 into TMPGEnc it gives me an error message saying "cannot open or is unsupported." So does anyone have any advice either how to fix this problem or is there any other good way to make an M2V out of an mpeg2?

    Thanks alot for any responses

  2. If your mpeg-2 is already DVD compliant, all you need to do is de-multiplex it. Do this in TmpGenc by slecet file->mpeg tools, simple de multiplex tab. Select your mpeg 2 file and click run.
