  1. Is there a way to put in an intro movie with DVD Lab?
I don't know karate, but I do know ka-razy! And I'm not afraid to use it!

absolutely. create your intro movie in the video editor of your choice.

go to Movie -> Add New and add an empty movie.

import your intro video (File->Import Asset)

drag your intro video into the empty movie you added.

In the Connections window, select the + control, drag a line from "First Play" to the icon for your intro movie.

Your disc will load, play that movie, then go to the Main Menu (or to the next movie you link to, etc... )

I used Oscar's own dvdblue.mpv as intro movie in a project that had one other movie (a 1hr57min capture from LaserDisc). The intro plays then goes into the main menu page where there are links to 5 more other menu pages. The resulting DVD played ok and as expected on a month-old Sony NVP530 DVD player, but on a 1.5yr old JVC XVS62 pressing ANY link on ANY menu page causes the DVD to jump back and play just the intro then go again and stay on the main menu. I guess it must be the player, but when I removed the intro and re-authored (so only one movie clip in the project) the resulting DVD played OK on both set-tops. From this it looks as if it's important to consider what DVD player u intend to play back in, among others, as cue on whether or not to include an intro segment, or for that matter, more than movie in the project.
For the nth time, with the possible exception of certain Intel processors, I don't have/ever owned anything whose name starts with "i".
