XViD to MPEG2 using TMPGEnc Gives a Blank output

I tried to convert an XVid into .m2v (MPEG2 Video) Using TMPGEnc using Koepis XViD Stable as the xvid codec..

ater finishing the process when i played the file in PowerDVD or Windows Media Player it was blank... 1Hr 41mins of black picture

the file was 640*336 @ 23.97 fps XViD
i converted to 640*336 @ 23.97 MPEG2

Try installing the mpeg2codec.

If you tried playing the file with Power DVD then the codec shouldn't be the problem, because when you install Pawer DVD you install the mpeg2codec should get installed durning installation of Power DVD.
