I like the member status area. It gives the forum users a small space to have some cool text. Maybe the mods should have "special" colors that others can't use for their avatar text, if you feel that it'll be a problem.

I would have to agree with Baldrik, it may be time. As it turn out I don't even use my status line.

1) I think a yellow card should be publically visible for 5-7 days before it is hidden.

2) Rather than getting rid of the member line and/or avatar, we should pass a resolution for Baldrick's consideration banning the use of the word Moderator in either area by an non-Moderator.

Good.
The fact that some moderator's seem to race to issue cards?
Not so good.
The fact that there's no balance anymore, no mitigating factor's taken into account and no reasonable attitude displayed by some the moderators?

Good idea (or more so any attempt to fraudently use the phrase to mislead any other member into thinking you're a member of the mod club.
