    I have BeSweet installed in my computer from the SVCD2DVDMPG+ installation, when I clicked on the file icon to the right of the AC3 under the Audio Encoder and select either the besweet.exe or the ac3enc.dll, I would get the error message "Invalid AC3 encoder". How do I get the program to use the Besweet AC3 encoder? Thanks.

    Yes, I do have the latest version SVCD2DVD. However, I also tried with the SVCD2DVDMPG+ and got the same error. By not having the AC3 encoder, does that mean I cannot author DVD with SVCD files that have AC3 encoded or it only means I cannot convert my sound track to AC3?

  4. The later.. you can't convert to ac3 if it has ac3 you just don't covert the audio with svcd2dvd.

    The only AC3 encoder which SVCD2DVD supports is Sonic Foundry's SoftEncode. It is very high quality compared to BeSweet/ffmpeg ac3enc.dll.

    It is however no longer sold.
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
