New Movie Short!!! On FILM!!! Plus a question.

I've decided that I'm gonna make a ~10min short film next summer. I'm gonna be saving up and writing until then...oh yeah and maybe some school in there . I've got a pretty good idea for it. It should be interesting to see how it turns out. Which leads me to my question.

What is the funnest scene in any movie you've ever seen???

I enjoy Mystery Science Theater 3000 kind of humor.

But of mainstream movies, I think one of my favorite comical scenes is The car chase in Rat Race after Jon Lovitz's character steals Hitler's car.

Jackass is pretty funny too. Do you guys get Dirty Sanchez on MTV over there? or Back of the Y? Some brilliant moments in both of those, like the DS guys nailing their penises to a table! ouch!! Or the undercover porn investigator in back of the Y, who can't help but crack one off

Yeah, the DS guys are nuts! another favourite was stripping naked and then rolling in stinging nettles! oh, or if you look between your thumb and forefinger, at that little flap of skin? they stuck those down to benches with staple guns!
oh, and while staying round at one of the guys houses, they dared one guy to cut himself and use the blood to draw a pentagram on the kitchen floor. not for any weird cult/devil worship reason, just to piss off the guy whose floor had blood all over it

I just remembered another stunt they did, and it was truly gross!
They each had to collect as much pubic hair as they could in a week. Between four of them there was quite a bit, given they were stopping random women on the street and asking for it! After the week was up, they weighed up who had how much, and the guy with the least had to eat -all- of the pubic hair on top of a pizza! he chucked up halfway through, all over the pizza. he continued eating it. truly sickening

Some people will do just about anything to get attention. Like eating pubic hair, stapling hands to tables, posting in the Off Topic forum!

I rented The Hot Chick this weekend. A couple of scenes that were great were:

When the best friend wanted to see her member.
The scene at the prom where they were kissing and she backed off and said 'I am such a Lesbian!'

I've got until Friday to return it, so I think I will watch it again some night this week.

Anything involving pain or injury is probably your safest bet.

Jackass, Three stooges, and so on.

I remember a Newhart episode where Larry, Daryl and Daryl were going to attempt to answer the age old question about a tree falling in the woods making a sound.

They left the Inn at the beginning of the show. Near the end, they walked back in, Daryl had his head bandaged. No words were needed, the audience lost it.
Larry then delivered his line about a tree falling on Daryl. The audience lost it again.

Maybe you can mix physical humor with a little dry British humor?

I can't watch those Dirty Sanchez blokes. Whilst Jackass was funny and had a few moments where you just had to wince, DS is just full on sickening.

I'll have tons of movie references and TV show references, in which a few will contain jokes. I've got all these ideas, I just need to get it written.
