    I have a hard time finding (cheap) working media for this recorder.

    Can it record on just about anything (like the Pioneer A06 seems to do =) or is it more selective??

    I know it quite a new drive but, please post your experiences!

    the only media this drive doesn't like for me is Legacy brand DVD-RW. Legacy DVD+RW and DVD-R work fine for me and the DVD-R are around $14 for a 10 pack.

    The cheap Princo 4x DVD-R media works fine for me.

    I've got an A06 and it doesn't accept any media. There's a lot of 2x and 4x cheap media that it can record only at 1x.
