  1. As my first project I chose to create a special background for nine TV shows. I added one picture and one text box to background b005.jpg using Photoshop 7.0. Using that background and nine vts' I changed the names, color, location, and font for the Movie 1, Movie 2, etc. buttons.

In the final output (PowerDVD and on TV Screen), the buttons do not show. The functionality is there if you can guess where the buttons are on the menu. I have tried over 10 different variations with varying results. Sometimes the buttons show but most times not.

The simplest test with no show is as follows:

    1. Once in DVD Menu Maker with only one VTS, load the background b005.jpg.

    2. Slide the "Movie 1" button to the center of the screen.

    3. Change only the color. I used the darkest blue.

    4. Hit the Encode menu and exit. Start the conversion.

After the conversion ends I open with PowerDVD to find the b005.jpg background with no text or buttons on it. It looks like a blank b005.jpg background. However, if you stab the mouse around the center of the menu and get lucky the movie will start.

Can anyone say what is wrong or is this a bug?

Check you have the latest build of DVD MenuMaker: 1.0.1323.34162

    I can't replicate your issue.

If you want you can zip up & send me the menu: C:\Documents and Settings\Chris\Local Settings\Application Data\Badgersoft\DVD MenuMaker\1.0.1323.34162\

Change the username to match your environment.

And zip up the folder which is pertinent to your menu (the most recent for example)

Email it over & I'll take a look

I'll test any day you want when you are solving my problems for me.

Many Thanks for fixing the problem so quickly. The resulting menu looks great.

Unfortunately two of the VCDs have audio sync problems after S2D. I'm reading up on other peoples sync problems. Reencoding with TMPGenc didn't completely solve the problem.

Once again, thanks for a great program and quick response to all the squawks.
