  1. I appear to be missing my audio files???

    I'm running (S)VCD2DVDMPG+ Build 1.0.1318.29595. I have Soft Encode 1.0 - Dolby Digital 5.1 installed (SFTENCDD.EXE Version 1.0.0.19).

I set the 'Audio Encoder' to AC3 and I have located the sftencdd.exe for (S)VCD2DVDMPG+.

I set the 'Output Stream Type' to create elementary streams & the 'Horizontal Reg Patch Value' to patch the 1st header to 352

This leaves me with the following 'File Suffixes':
    Audio ES: _DVD.ac3
    Video ES: _DVD.mpv
    PS: _DVD.mpg

When I run (S)VCD2DVDMPG+ all seems fine, I see the demuxing etc. taking place, I see a temporary .WAV file being created but when the entire process is complete the only new file I have is the .mpv video file - no .AC3 audio file has been created and the .WAV file has gone.

I want the A3C audio file to take advantage of DVD Maestro's 'Create Sync Audio' capabilities.

It appears to me that the call to SFTENCDD.EXE is failing, but there is no error logged and the DOS window closes itself so quickly I can neither see the command line parameters used in the call or any output messages returned by the application.

    CAN SOMEONE HELP PLEASE???

Below is the output log from (S)VCD2DVDMPG:

  4. @ChrissyBoy:

Many thanks, the latest update of 1.5 works great.

But now that SVCD2DVD 1.5 has the DVD menu system (great addition!) it's a pity that I still have to used SoftEncode and DVD Maestro for some of my vcds, but that's still the only way to get some episodal vcds coverted to DVD without the encountering the lip sync issues caused by the adverts having been ripped from the original mpeg streams... I know, I could follow DVDMizers guide and run the whole mpeg through a tmpeg again, but re-encoding the video does lead to a reduction in quality

If you can ever figure out a way of building a fix for this into SVCD2DVD I'll happily beta test it for you

...and once you've solved that could you end poverty, create world peace and PM me with next weeks winning lottery numbers!
