weird problem on some of the dvd's created

so this is weird, on some of the dvds i create the program works like a charm. on others, when i try and play it on my dvd player it comes in black and white and flickers on the screen so you can't really see the picture.

this has happened more than once with different svcd's. it is weird because some work fine, and i never get any errors, etc.

anyone experience this before or have any suggestions??

are you creating PAL dvdrs and your player plays only NTSC?

i was actually just looking into that. and i believe that could be the problem. would that cause what is happening?

is there a way to convert pal to ntsc without any quality loss??
