Hi,
I recently made my first SVCD out of a 58 minute xvid/ac3-file, 23,976 framerate, with TMPGenc and CBR 1600, later with two-pass VBR average 1654. Both times I can't play the SVCD (80 minute CDR) on my standalone DVD-player. After 5 to 10 minutes the video freezes, jumps ahead, freezes again etc. Burning the SVCD on a CDRW works better but definitely not perfectly, either. Both the SVCD and the mpeg-file itself work fine when played on the computer with WinDVD.
I never had any problems with SVCDs before - so I don't think it's due to my DVD-player.
Any idea where the problem might be?
I'd appreciate any help.
Nicky
