  1. Ive got my svcd2dvdmpg+ installled now.

Is there a size limit on the mpg file that you can use to create your other files?Ive tried one of just less thank 2gb and one just over 2gb.
It has gone through the audio sampling then opened another black page but after hours it doesnt do anything.
I notice in the folder it creates the _dvd files but the process doesnt seem to finish, i close the black box and another one and the files then disappear.

How do i know that the program is working and creating my files for dvd?
Also once it has done that do i need to run the files through any other process?

  2. Not totally sure on this as dos is not something i know much about, but shutting down the "black boxes" using the X could be killing the program.
I have done 3 bins to one dvd which was a input file size of over 2 gig and that ran Ok took quite a while on my "Athlon XP2400" around 3 hours i think but i did have other stuff running at the same time.
If you are running XP then you can tell when its running if you run the Task Manager as you can see the cpu usage. As is seen in another post here the new 1.5 will also display usage to help when you think its no working.
Once you have finished creating the file all you have to do is burn the files in your fav burning software but before you burn them check the files on your hard drive using something like power dvd as it saves wasting a disk if the film is no good.

  4. Hey,

You can't do files with this program that are bigger then 2 GB. If your files combined are bigger then 2 GB thats ok.

Remember it takes time to make dvds cause you can store about 4,7 GB on it. I've done a few with the program and it takes me about 3 hours or so to run 8 x 440 mpg vcd files through the program. I'm using a 2,4 P4 and the machine isn't doing anything else.

So when u use the program, does it look like it is doing nothing, no hard drive activity and the files created in the folder arent getting added to cos i checked these while it wos working but nothing was happening?
