The theme song for God's and Generals is "Going Home" by Mary Fahl, who is one of my favorite singers of all time. The extra's section of the movie had the music video for the song, so I ripped just that part using DVD Shrink 1.26. The problem I encountered was that I was getting no audio.

For those who use DVDShrink, you know that you can select what audio tracks you want... this audio track had 2 6-channel "undefined" tracks and one 2-channel stereo track. No matter what combination I used (of used and unused tracks) I still had no audio.

I came here and found no help except that I learned that DVD Shrink had a version 3.0 out. I downloaded it and became very disappointed when I found that I couldn't strip audio, subtitle tracks and crop the movie, but I did have a wild idea about running one through the other.

This is what I did.
1. Stripped the music video off the disk using DVDShrink 1.26 (which still left me with 3 audio tracks) and put it in one folder
2. Opened DVDShrink 3.0 and opened the music video's VIDEO_TS file in it. WOW - DVDSHRINK read that the video had only one audio track and that it was now 2-channel AC3.
3. You can guess the rest. I "backed it up" into another folder and had working DVD files with audio that I could put onto a DVD disk.

I hope this helps someone. This is my first post and I'm very proud of myself. I've been standing on the backs of so many of you for so long. I'm happy to have done something on my own and I hope that it will help someone else in the future.
