how do i rip a dvd movie n keep the main menu using DVD SHRINK?

Backup the whole disk, reauthor mode will only rip out and shrink specific files.

someone please correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think it's possible to keep the menu in re-author mode with DVD Shrink... I tried it, but the menus were not treated as menus, and when I played the DVD, it just played through the menus.

With DVDShrink, in Re-author mode, you cannot keep menus.

I really dig DVD2One, well worth the $40 bucks. Some folks here might recommend InstantCopy though.

Hi,

clone dvd lets you keep the movie and menus.

CloneDVD is the ONLY "simple" tool that will allow you to do this.

However, it's a bit TOO simple, in that it utterly fails to give you ANY control over compression levels and whatnot.
