i just re-encoded a 30fps Divx movie using CCE, the results are fine, however for obvious 30fps reasons i cannot import it into DVD-LAB etc.
It multiplexes fine with IFo-edit and the syncing is spot on, But in order to compile it with my other 2 dixv films on 1 dvd i needed to run Pulldown to get it accepted into dvd-lab, heres the nasty part!!! AFTER RUNNING PULLDOWN THE SYNC GOES BYE BYE.
Nothing i do will sync it back up, and the framerate has only went from 30 to 29.97. its not gradual sync but constant, my audio source is MP2/MPA.
any ideas??
do you suggest i convert to AC3 and add delay? this could be tricky, any easier way instead of trail and error?

That doesn't make a lot of sense does it ? Pulldown should
have just changed the framerate in the headers. That should
have caused the audio to be progressively out of sync in a ratio
of 2997/3000 instead of just offset. Are you sure its just offset ?
You could play it with Vdub and set the audio delay till it sounds
in sync at the beginning, and check the end for sync.
the simplest way to fix it would be to delete 3 frames out of
every 3000. I dunno if this can be done with an MPEG.
The other way is to resample the audio faster by 3000/2997.
If I had the file I would play with it
You could also see if Restream does the same thing
