Ok, to get it over with I’m a newbie and I searched! :P
My problem is thus…..
I have PAL TV with a Pioneer DV-535 player. The player has a switch to change between NTSC, PAL or Auto. If I try to watch a NTSC DVD with the switch on PAL or NTSC it comes up in black and white. However when I have it set to Auto it is in colour. Can anyone explain why this is so?
My main question though relates to the quality of the picture when it is in colour. On the TV the image seems slightly pixelated like the picture is divided by a very fine grid. What is causing this and can it be overcome?
Thanks.
