  1. Hello...

I have several (actually about 120) .vob files that I need to convert just the video portion to 640x480 23.976 MPEG1 files.

I can extrace the video with bbDMUX which povides an .m2v file. I cannot seem to convert it using bbMPEG or Tmpgenc, the files will not open (errors when selecting the m2v file). I have WinDVD installed and it can play the files fine, I just can't convert them.

    Any help would be appteciated.

    Thanks

  3. Did you try following ANY of the guides this page offers??

  4. Yes, I have tried the guides on this page and I can use the one mentioned above. What I need help in doing is setting up some kind of batch process or automated routine so I don't have to run through each file individually.

Opening them up directly would have been ok (without the dvd2avi step), because I can set up a job that converts them all. I can't, however, because they need some pre-processing.

    Thanks

  5. what kind of preprocessing???..what does DVD2AVI say when you try to open them??..where did the vob files orginate from?

  6. DVD2AVI opens the m2v files just fine. I can save the project, which creates the d2v file, and then open it in TMPEGinc, so no problem there.

I just don't want to do that manually 100+ times. Click - type - click - type - etc. Especially since DVD2AVI doesn't use the name of the opened video file when saving the project (the dialog is empty and must be typed in). I cannot combine the video files, they don't go together at all.

In the time since I've posted this, I probably COULD have done it all, it's just the thought of it that is keeping me from doing it.

    Thanks
