  2. My advice to you is to read the Convert guides over there on the left ...and be patient ...we all had to learn the hard way ..trial and error patience and persistance not by demanding help quickly

Converting a file is by now means a quck process converting the file can take anywhere from 20mins up to 40hrs.....quick is not an option
How long could we maintain? I wondered. How long until one of us starts raving and jabbering at this boy? What will he think then?

  5. You have most likely downloaded a divx file actuallyi would say that you have. Download the latest Divx codec. once installed Tmpenc should read it
then once it is done you will be able to burn it using a burning program like Nero using vcd template

Codecs are required for your PC to recognize and access AVI files. There are some common audio and video codecs that are used, to identify which one (ones?) that you require you can use a program called Gspot. It's in the Tools section and will test your file and tell you what is needed and if it's installed on your system. Get the codecs you need and install them in order to convert your file.

BTW, I'm not sure if I understand your reference but if you're talking about a commercial movie that you d/l'd, then please be more careful. Direct references to such material is against forum rules.
