dvd to dvd-rw

I just bought an LG GMA-4020B and burned one dvd on the dvd-rw disk provided (Maxell) using DVDDecripter and IC. No problems. I also have burned dvd's onto dvd-r media (Memorex). No problems. When I try to burn onto Memorex dvd-rw I keep getting write error messages. I'm wondering if my first burn onto the Maxell dvd-rw was a fluke. Do I need to set any special settings in IC or are the Memorex dvd-rw disks the problem? Thanks in advance for any help.

Yeap, you are right, Memorex DVD-RW disks are to blame. I bought a pack along with my burner and the disks never worked, I was lucky they took the the disks (open) back.
Do a search under DVD Media and DVD Writers for -RW media that works with your burner.

I also have LG GMA-4020B and Maxell DVD-RW can't be erased after doing it twice ( Internal failure error in Nero).

It's "funny" Maxell it's the recommended media for this burner.

No problem yet with Legacy ( princo) DVD-RW
