This may not be the best place for this and I know this site deals with vcd or dvd, but I just need to ask for some help. I make dvd's. capture with pinnacle studio 7.0. I have used my sony camera as a pass thru from a vcr to the pc. Has anyone ever tried to pass it from the pc back to a vcr? I know this sounds dumb, but I have a video that needs to go back to vhs. If I could skip having to record it to the camera and then to vhs it would save some hassle, but I will use this as a last resort. My camera is a Sony digitial 8 trv-340 I have found no way in the manual to do this. Thanks for the help in advance, please don't beat me up to bad.

I have never tried it that way, but I usually make a DVD and record to VHS from my DVD player to my VCR. You can do it the way you posted, but as I said, I have never tried.

I would have thought the easy and possibly the only way would be to use the tv-out facility of a video card, if you have one, and record directly to VHS.
