Some said that there was a demo version at one time, but I never saw it. I didn't see any info on I-Author the last time I went to their website.
There was a copied version floating around for a while, but with Nero now supporting SVCD's and primitive menus, and recently VCDImager and TSCV (and also VCDImagerEasy) allowing complicated, advanced menuing and cue/bin creation (which can be burned with Fireburner or CDRwin), not many people seem to be concerned with I-Author. Besides, it was like $1000 or something when it came out.
The only thing I've found that VCDImager can't do (yet) is to have the OGT feature found in I-Author. This would be great for subtitles. I think DVD2SVCD has the option to create these, if you already have I-Author installed. -
$1000,- is more than I have to pay for a DVD authoring software. VCDImager is a greet solution. I have read so many articles about I-Author so I just wanted to try how it is look like and how it is working.
