Could I use the plus version and still have a good quality if watched on tv. Also could it be authored that it does not cover the complete television set in order to keep good resolution.

The answers are Yes and Yes. I bought this proggy on a whim, and I have to admit that I really like it. I'm especially enamored of the green screen effects with the included templates where you can make it look like you're in a TV news studio, on a beach, looking in a window, etc. It's a lot of fun to play with and it looks just fine on the TV.
Once you capture your video, I recommend you pull it into TMPGenc to do what you want to do. (I'm sure lots of programs can do this, I just have used this one before.) You can set the output video in TMPGenc to "center - custom size" and pick a resolution that won't fill your screen. But depending on the resolution of your video camera source, you may find that by playing with the encode filters a bit, you can get real good looking stuff on full screen TV.The shortest sentence is said to be "I am". The longest is "I do".
