I updated to SVCD2DVDMPG 1.1.1.34346 (this is the non-plus version)

    I notice:

    1. new version requires installation of .NET Framework
    2. new version takes longer to launch because of .NET Framework.
    3. new version creates WAV files, which take up more HD space during processing.
    4. new version *seems* to take much longer to process files, though I haven't done a rigorous comparison yet.
    5. new version doesn't seem to offer any new features

Is there any advantage at all to the new version? Is the audio quality better? Is the processing more reliable?

I still have the installer for 1.1, so I'm thinking of switching back. Any reason not to? Can both old and new version co-exist, or will I have to uninstall 1.1.1.34346?

The key difference between the version is 1.1.1.34346 doesn't use besweet.

Other than that there is no difference.

You can only have one version installed at any one time.
