DivX stutters after a 30mins of playing.. why?!

hi,

if i watch a divx on my pc, it is fine.

if i move it to my friends laptop, it plays fine for 30 mins or so, and then starts to stutter really bad.

what's the reason for this? could it be that the laptop is not powerfull enough? (i don't know the specs, though it's not as good as my pc).

seing as no one could help.. i solved my own problem!

if you reduce the CPU setting with the codex, this problem is solved.

you can do this via windows media player, properties, then the codex properties..
