Just converted a widescreen movie (recorded on tape) to DV using CANOPUS and the AVI image is great. However, after I converted to DVD using TMPGEnc the black areas outside the widescreen are not "black" anymore but more lighter tone. Does anyone know how to adjust the tone/hue to keep with the original?
I tried different settings with bitrate and they don't seem to have affect on the color/tone/hue or whatever.

Well, you can double click on clip frame, and select Mask Color Setting and choose what color you want your mask to be.
