instantcopy last 2 chapters problem

Hi, I use dvdshrink 2.3 to rip the "movie only" vobs to my harddrive. I then use instantcopy to compress them. For some reason when I test the newly compressed movie I get to the second last chapter and then it skips back to chapter 2 and finishes playback with chapter 3. So as in the case with my roadtrip dvd chapters 28 and 29 playback as chapters 2 and 3. I can't understand why, since when I play the dvdshrink rip version there is no problem. I tried using IfoEdit to create new ifo's but that didn't fix the problem. I also copied the ifo's from the dvdshrink rip to the instantcopy video_ts directory and it didn't work either. Is it possible that during the transcoding process that instantcopy after it finished chapter 27 went back and copied the audio and video from chapters 2 and 3 and added it on? Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Hmm...

Check the outputted vobs (on your computer from HD) and see if it plays the same way.

If not, it's probably just that your media is bad (what are you using?).

Thanks for your response. When I tested the video, I read it directly off the harddrive so its not the media (haven't burned it yet). I opened the vobs and sure enough, the last vob containing the last 2 chapters is screwed up - it contains the audio and video of chapters 2 and 3. I can't understand it. Why would instantcopy skip the last 2 chapters of the movie and tack on a couple from the start ? My instantcopy version is 7.03.140 with hidden settings editor 1.3.4. I tried it again with a couple other movies : Manhunter and Suicide Kings. Same problems occurred. Any suggestions ?
