I created a DVD-SVCD with SVCD2DVD+ and everything seemed to work fine but when i went to load the DVD files into PowerDVD to test it the only sound i get is a loud static through-out the entire video

  2. Can you give us the information on the input file so we can see what audio you put in..

Another thing you could try is select 2-pass when encoding audio.

    Greatings,

  5. I had the same problem the way to solve it is to check the skip re-sample step. Its weird because some movies you dont need to check the skip re-sample step. If its freezing on you make sure you have everything shut down except for SVCD2MPEG, any virus protections are anything running in the backround will most likely crash your computer. SVCD2MPEG is a great program, but you really have to play with it to get it going correctly.
If that dosent work try uninstalling your program then reinstalling see what happens. Remember the skip re-sample step might not work on all dvd players. So far i have tested it on 4 different stand alone dvd players and the movies played fine. When i put it into my PS2(Playstation 2) the video was perfect but i had no audio. 1 last thing make sure you have enough space on your hard drive because SVCD2MPEG fills it. Seems like it just consumes alot of space and pulls on your system big time. Im sure ChrissyBoy will try to improve on some of the concerns that many of us have. Overall the program is great and it definately saves me alot of time from before.

  6. Ohh and make sure you dont burn with Nero 6. ChrissyBoy mentions this in his instructions. Out of the 4 different dvd players that i use, only 1 played the burned copy by Nero 6. When i burned the movies with COPYTODVD the movies was fine. Im not sure of the success rate that other people have with Nero 6, but for some reason it dosent work well with SVCD2MPEG+.
