Plz i need help and quick!!!

Ok, ill keep this quick. Got a film off a friend (avi, divx) that is 29.976fps. I need to convert this to PAL (25fps) but when i do it like another DVD i convert its alot slower.

So does anyone know any guides or advice so i can turn the movie into PAL without slowing it way down.

How do you normally convert DVDs?
Just curious since you didnt say..

I have gotten 25fps PAL vids from friends overseas..and used TMPGEnc to encode them to NTSC 29.97fps. and they have comeout fine..

Give it a shot and see( unless that is the normal way you were referring to and it didnt work)..you gotta figure that if it would encode from PAL to NTSC...it might do it the other way.

hmm.... iv never thought of just using tmpenc! I use virutaldub to extract audio and convert to pal video. Use besweet and use presets to convert from 29.976 --> 25.000. Then use tmpenc to create mpg and put it on a dvd using Ulead DVD Workshop.
