  1. I have pioneer dv-343. The problem is the dvd-rw (princo) I made

    - mpeg1 file converted to mpeg-2 720x480 29.97fps using tmpegenc
    - mpeg1 file using ulead dvd movie factory 2
    - SVCD 480 x 480 convert to DVD-SVCD 480x480 using svcd2dvdmpeg

all above conversion, when playing back on the pioneer 343 player, the picture is STRECHED, not 1/3 nor 2/3. (4:3 pan and scan choosen on player). Playing it back from computer are all fine.

Is this a pioneer player fix problem? If I use svcd2dvdmpeg+, with pan and scan fix, will it fix my problem?

If not, what other brand of dvd player will do the job?

    Any info would be appreciated.

    Thanks

  5. 480x480 isn't a compliant DVD resolution. While it may play on some player, it will not on all. I would suggest converting it to either 352X480 or 720X480.
