  1. using CCE to do vcd is good solution? for quality?
    what is the bitrate i need to put to fit to one CDR? is there a VCD bitrate calculator?

    CCE doesnt make that good a VCD compression .. TMPGEnc does a much better job and its a whole lot cheaper (free for vcd)

  3. VCDs have a set bitrate (see what is VCD to left). xVCDs can be anything you want (MPEG1 video). There are bitrate calculators to the left under tools.

    The general feeling is that CCE does better MPEG2 encodes than MPEG1. And TMPGEnc does better MPEG1 encodes than MPEG2. However, CCE is still faster.
