    has anyone successfully copied a swap magig disc that comes with a ps2 chip.

    You can't copy the PS2 boot code to a dvd-r or cd-r. That is why you have to use the swap magic discs, otherwise you could just copy the boot code to a game backup and it would work. You can only have the boot code on a pressed disc, because no writer will write bad blocks on purpose. The burn would fail.

    PS, same thing goes for Playstation.
