Some Sony digital camcorders have a feature to convert existing mini-DV material (on tape) in-camera up to 60 seconds of mpeg movie ex (on memory stick).
I have a special purpose for this conversion (view on PHD-A55) and I do know the quality of this MPEG EX is lousy.
Who has experience?

I will answer my own post.
I have just succeeded in this in-camera conversion and could display the resulting MPEG EX on CyberFrame (with audio). Easy job! See page 128 of the DCR-TRV22 manual (Recording a picture from tape as a moving picture).
