I do a weekly cable TV show called THE HAPPINESS SHOW (yeah, all about the art and science of it), and I was wondering if my capture settings should be different if I intend to make copies of my original VHS tapes (so I can cablecast to other nearby communities).
I've been able to capture 720x480 using WinTV-GO, Btwincap, huffy, and TMPEGnc on a 500 mHZ pIII and plan to make DVD's and then make VHS copies from the DVD. These VHS tapes would then be cablecast.
Should I be using different settings, and since I haven't worked with bit rate, should I be using a different one than the default?
Thanks
