  1. Hello,

I recently copied 8 mile to one dvd with my new NEC-1300a with a hacked firmware 1h05 from Herrie.
I ripped the movie with dvd decrypter and then I encoded and burned it with Pinnacle Studio Instant Copy.
I first burned the movie on a DVD+RW from Nashua and everything plays fine.
THe problem is when I burned the movie on a DVD-r from Nashua I get playback problems somewhere at the last quarter of the movie. The ps2 skips parts of the movie and then it freezes and says: Can not read this Disc.

Is this a common problem with the Nashua DVD-r disc on the ps2?
Or the problem is Instant COpy?

    help me please

Sound like a media problem to me. PS2's have been really good with playback of DVD-R's on my end and also with alot of other members from this site. So I doubt that it is a PS2 problem and if I were you I would try out different media until you find one that you like.

  4. no,i dont agree.
id have to say, software problem-try installing something like CopytoDVD,and its patin couffin engine.
that did the trick for me and a few mates,as nero, pinnacle, and a few others, just all had either burning or playback problems.
i can copy the discs that didnt work with those programmes, and theyll still stutter, skip, etc, but copy them onto same brand discs, with copytodvd, and not one problem.
and my ps2 was super picky about dvd-rs and +rs,but those problematic brands of disc now work flawlessly with copytovd,on all my systems.
