i have a new dvb card (technisat SkyStar 2 TV) and to capture the mpeg2 stream.
strange problem :
when watching the mpeg file with the software that came with the card (dvb viewer) - no problem. opening the file with uleads media studio (6 or 7) - no problem.
opening with virtual dub OR Windows Media Player OR encoding directly with tmpgeng - audio sync problem.
so it must be a software problem somehow - TMPGEnc and vd seem to use different codecs than the dvbviewer and ulead.
is there any way to make all programs use the same codec to get rid ogf the sync problem ? i don't want to use uleads media studio as it is not comfortable to use (in my opinion - even after a few hours try i did'nt make it to simply cut out some ads ...), i prefer virtuabl dub (esp. because of the logoaway filter ...).
any chance ?
i know i can adjust audio sync in VD but that's annoying if you have to do it every time and in most cases only 98% correct (unless you spend hours to find the correct millisecond value)![]()
