Hey Guys,
Recently I came across a method to play PAL DVDs on an NTSC only system by simply changing the video information from PAL to NTSC for the main movie and menu in the VIDEO_TS.IFO and VTS IFO files using IfoEdit. It turned out to work, menu is displayed perfectly and runs smoothly, although when I go to play the movie it is displayed correctly but slows down for a split second in about 1-2 second intervals so that you end up getting a rather choppy type effect, not very noticiable at first, but becomes very apparent when a camera pans across a scene or a lot of motion occurs. I was wondering if there was anything I could do (other then re-encode the entire thing) that would potentially fix this problem,
Input would be appreciated,
Thanks![]()

Good question. Things like this quite often tend not to work properly. I think the best bet would be to re-encode
