Some help from Leadtek Winfast TV2000XP-Deluxe users please!

Just installed it today.
Then i installed the drivers (ALL_DRV_878_Teletext_30625).

Seemed to go smoothly.I restarted.

I tried to capture from VHS with VirtualdubMOD,but a)it was without color (although i set it to PAL-B) , b)the bigger formats were "unsupported"

Do i need the PVR programm to capture at any resolution ? I downloaded it twice and both times ,i got a corrupted file.

On the site there are 2 sets of drivers.The ones i mentioned above, and these --> ALL_TVDV_30130 . Should i try these ?

VDub and all its derivatives have problem with high resolution.

You have 3 options:

1. using WinFast PVR
2. download VirtualVCR_MOD from
http://wave.prohosting.com/avarakin/Video/
It has a fix for SAP sound problem.
3. use btwincap drivers with vdub, but many people have problems with these drivers

thanks for the reply,i'm checking VirtualVCR now.

I could not download the newest Winfast PVR ! I downloaded it 3 times.2 from the US server and 1 from the taiwan server.

All three were corrupted ! (used flashget,which never had problems).

So i installed the one from the CD which is a January 2003 version.

It's cool, but it doesnt let ME choose whatever resolution i want ! When for example i set it to capture Uncompressed 720x576 , it switches back to 320x240 !

Also , in the capture options, i see 3 buttons near the "capture profile option" : "add" "modufy" "delete" .

However ,the most important of the 3 , the "modify" button , is never highlighted and cannot be selected !

I think i\ve heard i could capture at any setting i want with this card

Is this something that got fixed with the new version of PVR (the one i cant download) ?
