    I just purchased an Alba 108 its not an xi, but at the moment I can't get it to play vcd's, I know it seems like evrybody is getting tired of hearing the same thing. But anyway I've tried the hacks in the hack section but I still can't get it too work. When I try the 2182 hack what happens is that the secrect menu stays up and the display panel says open even though the disc has been inserted. Also if I try the other one where you press 1, all it does is say - Incorrect Disc Format - then it spits out the disk. Can anyone help. Thanks in advance!!

    I had an Alba 45xi replaced with the Alba 108, because i thought it plays vcds!
